Backwoods Bash Music & Camping Festival This Weekend!
The Backwoods Bash Music & Camping Festival kicks off this weekend at Old Walnut Creek State Park on Keystone Lake in Prue, OK. This year marks the fifth year of the festival and will feature national headlining acts The Werks, The Gourds, Split Lip Rayfield, and Wild Child. Other regional acts include the 1 Oz Jig, the Moai Broadcast, Paul Benjaman Band, Fatty Lumpkin, Groovement, Sam and the Stylees and many more. Online ticket sales have ended, but attendees can purchase
Weekend Passes at the gate for only $40.00; kids 12 and under are free. Weekend Passes include all three days
of concerts and camping. Attendees
are welcome to bring their own stocked cooler. There are no alcohol sales, but attendees are welcome to
bring their own.
Aside from music, the festival features swimming beaches,
hiking trails, fishing dock, boat ramp, food vending, shopping district, art
and crafts displays, veteran’s service, kid’s area and much more. The kid’s area will include jupiter
jumps, euro bungee, and activities throughout the weekend, like build-your-own
hula hoop, build-your-own kite, drum clinic, painting classes, free coloring
books and more.
Gates will open at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25 and music
starts at 5:00 p.m. Music will run
until 1:30 a.m. Music starts at
10:00 a.m. and ends at 1:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Attendees are
welcome to stay through noon on Monday, May 28.
